The Welcome Days took place last Friday and Saturday, offering international students joining our institution for the semester a friendly and multicultural immersion experience upon their arrival.
The first day, Friday, was devoted to welcoming students to the campus. Students attended an information session, followed by a tour of the campus to discover their new study environment. This time of exchange ended with a tasting of galette des rois, promoting the first moments of conviviality and encounters.
On Saturday, it was off to the mountains for a day in the snow at Isola 2000. Participants shared a mountain meal at the L'Avalanche restaurant before taking part in an original snowshoeing activity: the Défi Enflammé. Supervised by the Guides Tinée Mercantour, this orienteering race invited students to find clues scattered along the course in order to open a chest containing the necessary equipment to build a fire.
These two days fully achieved their objective: to welcome international students in a warm setting, promote intercultural exchange, and create initial connections between students from different backgrounds. It was a rich experience, marked by sharing and discovery!
Thank you to our students for participating!
